Richard Campbell, EAP Counselor

Richard Campbell is a Bermudian counselling therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and a background in education, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science with a concentration in Physical Education. He brings a wealth of experience to his work, having spent 17 years as a dedicated Physical Education teacher in the Bermuda Public School System before transitioning into the mental health field.


Richard currently serves as a school counsellor at the middle school level, where he supports students through academic, social, and emotional challenges. He has also worked in private practice as a counselling therapist, supporting individuals of all ages with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, workplace stress, and relationship issues.


His approach is warm, client-centered, and collaborative, using evidence-based techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Richard is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.


He is a Professional Member of both the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and the Bermuda Counselors Association (BCA).
