Dr. Leonard Astwood

Dr. Leonard Astwood is an accomplished psychologist with over 30 years of experience. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and his Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University. Dr. Astwood's pursuit of excellence led him to attain a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the renowned Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology, now known as William James College.

With a career spanning multiple roles within the Bermuda Government, the Family Centre, EAP Bermuda and other private counseling agencies, Dr. Astwood is dedicated to assisting individuals in navigating life's challenges and facilitating transformative change.

With an empathetic and collaborative approach, Dr. Astwood fosters meaningful connections with his clients. He believes in the potential for growth within everyone and aims to provide a safe space for individuals to explore their experiences. His areas of specialty include childhood trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, grief/loss, couples’ dynamics and parent/child dynamics.
